Oh my, I am having way too much fun with my Hello, Cupcake! book. I apologize if you're feeling cupcake overload, but I just can't stop!!! The girls recently had their very first friend over for a sleepover and this last weekend we had the best slumber party with some family friends in beautiful Carmel. Yesterday was filled with checkups at the doctor and rewards for braveness. With slumber parties on the mind, I just had to put this fun little party together to surprise the girls after their long day!
Got Insomnia?
All tucked in.

Olivia and I made the actual cupcakes from scratch last week. We used a Martha Stewart recipe that called for vegetable oil; this was AWESOME because it made the cupcakes very moist, so much so that they were still completely fresh and moist when we ate them (store them in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer).
The girls had so much fun eating the plethora of candy that made up the sleeping kids. Grace selected the spooked boy and Olivia picked pink. of course and of course.
Yum! Yum!
